Ya nada es eterno, espero.
Cuando empezamos a afrontar formalmente la problemática del YO DIGITAL. Tuvimos en cuenta una serie de premisas sencillas y concluyentes, por ejemplo he recuperado esta tabla con diferencias entre la comunicación tradicional y la digital.
En la pizarra escribíamos:

Con el entusiasmo de todo comienzo acuñamos frases como:
- Lo que no está en red no existe.
- Tan sólo lo que está en red perdurará
- …
Y me las creí, hasta el extremo de que me asusté. En un mundo en que se avanza más por la potencia bruta de cálculo que por la aparición de nuevas ideas, si nuestras premisas son ciertas ¿cuanto tardaremos en estar totalmente definidos según vivamos más y más en la red? Ejemplos:
- Sistemas de navegación GPS. Manejan ingente información cartográfica en tiempo real en conjunción con la posición que nos dan media docena de satélites. (Fuerza bruta de calculo)
- Albert Einstein nació hace dos siglos. (4 de marzo de 1879 – 18 de abril de 1955). (Nuevas ideas disruptivas)
- Las relaciones sociales virtuales superan a las reales , según una encuesta realizada en Reino Unido.
Sin embargo la otra noche volví a mi pizzería favorita, Mastropiero, en el corazón de Malasaña, lo hago todos los veranos, con cual aprecio más el sabor peculiar de sus pizzas y me resultan más evidentes los cambios que en público y decoración se han producido.
En esta ocasión hablando con la dueña comentábamos lo light que se habían vuelto los carteles de la Pizzería. Antaño eran tremendamente reivindicativos, el genocidio en iberoamérica, el Ché, etc.. Mientras que ahora se limitaban a anuncios de conciertos y bueno, también había una copia del Guernica.
Pero claro como bien me decía tras la barra, los carteles los trae el público y esto es lo que hay.
Yo reflexionaba, este es el típico ejemplo de un caso de éxito Web 2.0, una idea interesante, pizzas porteño-argentinas, un público entusiasta que colabora, (ponen sus contenidos en forma de carteles), y se crea una comunidad que crece gracias al boca a boca,( indispensable para un restaurante), y sin publicidad. (Nadie anuncia a google).
Y en este momento fue más concluyente y con un tremendo acento argentino, que hace que las sentencias sean más lapidarias dijo algo así como:
Si es que ya no se hacen convocatorias como antes, ya no hay carteles reivindicativos, ahora todo se hace por sms o por Internet, con lo cual no va a quedar registro de nada.
Y me alegré. Aun tenemos salvación, nadie sabe con certeza cuantos mensajes de “pásalo” ocurrieron, cuantos fueron convocados, cuantos asistieron, es decir aun somos indefinidos.
Y me entristecí. No se sabe ahora, pero ¿algún historiador del futuro será capaz de saberlo? ¿A lo mejor ese futuro está muy cerca? Ya todos conocemos a quién tiene un navegador GPS.
Pero lo que está claro es que estos recuerdos colectivos de convocatorias tipo “pásalo” los recordamos y manipulamos según sea el presente y el canal o periódico que nos dé la noticia. Como nuestros recuerdos personales de toda la vida. Aun somos animales emocionales a nivel colectivo.
Justo por haber usado la red se es difuso, mientras que un Guernica, es para siempre.

Leo estas observaciones con interés. Me hacen pensar que lo que, de verdad, resultó determinante en el "pásalo" no fueron los medios. Medios más o menos difusos o tecnológicos (aun somos indefinidos), sino que en esa situación lo que tuvo un peso enorme fueron "los hechos" aunque los medios pueden modificar algo la forma de expresar la reacción.
Lo que abarrotó la calles de Barcelona y de Madrid y casi todas las ciudades, aquel fin de semana de aquel marzo; lo que llenó todo de carteles hechos a mano, de LÁGRIMAS y de verguenza fueron "los hechos". LOS HECHOS INNUNDARON LA CALLE DE CACEROLAS Y SARTENES: Enterarte de que el ministro de interior del gobierno de tu propio país llamaba "miserables" a quienes no entendían sus FALSEDADES o saber que el candidato oficial decía tener la "convicción moral" de que los nefastos responsables eran quienes ellos querían y necesitaban que fuesen.
Aquellos hechos, así transmitidos, por la televisión, pro-gubernamental del momento, encendieron la indignación y la reacción más que cualquier medio alternativo.
Se me ocurre que estas convocatorias son más eficaces a la hora de promover la acción. Como se recoge en la entrada su inmediatez (la red por la que puede viajar el mensaje en una tarde puede ser de dimensiones insospechadas) y su vinculación emocional (la red que se va formando es selectiva, llega a través del vínculo) crean un procesamiento de la información impulsivo y caliente con capacidad para ‘sacar a la calle’.
Estoy de acuerdo con Pilar en la eficacia de las convocatorias telemáticas, pero no sólo por las características que indica, sino también porque de este modo los mensajes se transmiten de forma exponencial: yo convoco a todos los miembros de mi red social (o a aquellos que podrían estar interesados), cada uno de los cuales repite el gesto a su vez, de modo que el radio de acción se extiende casi indefinido en un lapso muy breve de tiempo.
Por otra parte, como bien indica José, es cierto que tal vez no quede registro de dichas convocatorias (a menos que lo guarden las operadoras…), pero lo importante es que SÍ quedará registro de la acción social que generaron, como apunta Javier.
