Susana tiene “un temita”
Cuando se nos dio la libertad de desarrollar ideas rompedoras dentro del plan de innovación de Telefónica I+D, no tuvimos ninguna duda de elegir el YO DIGITAL. La idea, tras unas emocionantes reuniones de un muy reducido grupo, se articuló rápidamente, y prendió el interés en las esferas decisorias que otorgan presupuestos y recursos. Nos lanzamos a la aventura.
Curiosamente siempre nos guiaron buenos principios a la hora de desarrollarlo. Queríamos crear algo útil a la comunidad digital allá donde esté, sin poner el foco en la rentabilidad económica, con la convicción de que si algo es útil, necesariamente será rentable. Allí estaba el ejemplo de Google.
Uno de los principios substanciales que ha estado siempre presente es el de la concienciación de nuestra esencia digital, nuestros derechos digitales de intimidad, confidencialidad, y la divulgación de este principio a resto del mundo que existe más allá de esta pantalla de ordenador. Esta semana han sucedido dos hechos que me han hecho replantearme cuanto soy de digital y cuanto no quiero ser de digital.
El primero de ellos la migración en mi empresa de plataforma de correo. Con los consiguientes cortes de servicio. Creo que en este siglo XXI, sería más eficaz prescindir del teléfono que del e-mail. Yo que pensaba que el correo electrónico estaba superado, tenemos blogs, twiters, facebook, videoconferencias, etc… etc… Veasé: DIRECTOR CIENTÍFICO DE NOKIA: «FACEBOOK REPRESENTA EL FUTURO», Y EL CORREO ELECTRÓNICO EL PASADO.
Luego te falta algo tan molesto, tan generador de spam, y no sabes como seguir coordinándote con otros seres digitales fuera de tu empresa y país. Estuve a punto de pasarles mis otras direcciones de correo, que son parte de mis otras identidades digitales, pero afortunadamente se resolvió el problema antes.
Otro hecho que me hace replantearme mi esencia digital son los Beers & Blogs de madrid , reuniones mensuales entre notables blogleros alrededor de la cerveza y que gracias a Mariluz de barriblog tengo el privilegio de compartir. Realmente la experiencia del contacto presencial con los blogers supera con creces los intercambios digitales, y desde luego las dosis de ingenio y creatividad intercambiadas acrecentadas por el efecto catalizador de la birra es sumamente gratificante. Lástima que haya tan poca presencia femenina todavía en estas citas.
En definitiva que esta semana me he dado cuenta de que soy más digital y dependo de herramientas digitales que creía obsoletas. Que realmente lo gratificante son las experiencias presenciales, aunque esto siempre lo he sabido, y que si no fuese por mi faceta digital muchos contactos reales tampoco hubieran podido llegar a concretarse.
Que por qué el titulo de Susana tiene un “temita”, pues porque yo en realidad quería escribir acerca de la interconectividad de la red, medito mucho sobre ello. De si realmente estamos todos a seis grados de distancia . y de si se puede relacionar el número e con los grados de conexión de los cluster de red. Pero también me gustaría saber en que está trabajando Susana con el Yo Digital, pero cada vez que le pregunto me responde, tengo un temita.
Esta vez ha aflorado tu YO mas personal. Me ha gustado mucho como expresas la indefensión ante la ausencia del correo, pero en la segunda parte das la solución: Si no hay e-mail, birra a tutiplén con los colegas. En la próxima caída del correo nos vemos en el Cucos.
Había una porra sobre cuanto tardaría en estar el correo estable. Ganaron los del miércoles
Es curioso, ha aflorado tu Yo más personal… para defender a capa y espada esas otras identidades digitales que te permiten mantener cuentas de correo separadas (con users diferentes, pero imagino que también con listados de contactos distintos) El día que el prototipo del Yo Digital salga de la fase beta, tal vez pueda indicarnos qué contactos del trabajo son merecedores de conocer nuestras otras direcciones personales, en base a los vínculos psicosociales que mantenemos con ellos, ¿no?
Ah no, eso si que no, las identidades del trabajo del trabajo son, pero las personales, pertenecen a la intimidad y esa sólo es de mi yo digital.
