MI YO DIGITAL Y HACIENDA
Estaba yo iniciando los trámites de rellenar la declaración de hacienda en el momento de descargarme mis datos fiscales con el certificado digital. Le di al botón y me acomodé mentalmente mientras esperaba que apareciesen dichos datos, unos segundos. Y van y aparecen instantáneamente. Y me asusté. No sólo porque probablemente estén bien, sino porque tardaron lo mismo que tarda google en hacer una búsqueda. ¿Será casualidad? ¿Estaré en la caché de Hacienda?
Y me acordé de unos de los motivos que nos impulsaron a embarcarnos en el Yo DIGITAL. El controlar mis datos en la red. Entendiendo por mis datos los que conforman mi identidad digital, Nombre, edad, sexo, número de DNI, cuentas bancarias, claves de acceso al curro, … Pero también pretendíamos controlar información sensible personal que está en la red. Esta es deducible de las web que visito, qué periódicos leo, qué artículos comento, qué música, qué aficiones, qué viajes, … Y evidentemente, no estoy seguro.
La red tiene capacidad de saberlo todo. ¿Estoy paranoico? ¿Os acordáis de cuando no existía google? ¿Quién pensaba que se podía analizar y encontrar en microsegundos tanta información?
Por otra parte, si miramos la portada del país digital tenemos estos tres titulares hoy:
Las líneas aéreas y marítimas han enviado desde marzo de 2007 información sobre todos los pasajeros procedentes de países ajenos al 'territorio Schengen'
La operación, que sigue abierta, tiene lugar tras seis meses de investigación
Un estudio sigue los movimientos de más de cien mil usuarios de móviles para construir un mapa de los desplazamientos humanos
Evidentemente son tres buenas noticias. ¿O no? Bueno, demuestran el poder de control que tiene la red. Otra cosa es como se ejerza, otra cosa es que lamentablemente seamos previsibles globalmente como dicen en tu vida en diez km. (Yo conozco a una que es imprevisible, pero esa es otra historia).
Pero claro, sigamos ahondando en las noticias. Por ejemplo esta del portal de la sociedad de la información: GOOGLE SE OPONE A QUE LAS DIRECCIONES IP SEAN CONSIDERADAS COMO DATO PERSONAL.
Las posturas están fijadas en el interior de la noticia:
En un reciente comunicado, la Unión Europea (UE) dejó en claro que la dirección IP es un dato personal y que, como tal, debe someterse a la normativa comunitaria y de los países del área en materia de protección de datos.
Less advirtió de que Google, como muchos otros sitios web, “colectan direcciones IP con el fin de monitorear patrones de uso y recolectar información estadística para garantizar seguridad y calidad de servicios”.
Es evidente que hacienda somos todos, y que debemos fiarnos de su profesionalidad, la buenas intenciones la tienen por ley. Pero ¿y de google?, bueno todavía de google me puedo fiar. Mientras sus dueños sean hipermillonarios pueden ser altruistas y tener buenas intenciones, y ¿del resto de web que tienen acceso al uso que hace de la red mi dirección IP? (Para bien y para mal yo tengo una IP fija) Y si se logra monitorear mi dirección MAC.
La verdad es que desde dentro de una empresa de internet, es obligatorio conocer los patrones de uso de la red para ofrecer servicios de calidad, y existe un gran recorrido de mejora, por ejemplo uniendo identidad, dirección IP y ubicación. Si se ordena una transacción bancaria, o de mi visa, desde una dirección IP, que sé donde está ubicada, y se comprueba que mi móvil no está allí, se lanza una alarma al móvil que se supone que está conmigo, a mi teléfono, etc… o se retiene hasta que la confirme.
Toda empresa que se precie debe conocer la identidad y aficiones de sus clientes de la red. Quienes son, donde están, que les gustan, a qué hora les gustan, cuánto dinero tienen, que tendencias políticas expresan, que tendencias sexuales profesan, cuales les gustaría profesar… ¿Donde paramos?
Y luego para colmo, el mundo ha cambiado. EL RETO DE LA SEGURIDAD EN LAS REDES SOCIALES Hablar de la falta de seguridad de Facebook está ya manido.
Pero es que aunque fuesen seguras hemos cambiado, antes se escribía un diario para que nadie lo leyese, ( o al menos eso se decía) y ahora se escribe un blog para que todo el mundo lo lea. Y nos mostramos en posiciones hoy graciosas, mañana comprometidas. Y la red nunca olvida.
Evidentemente no se de cuanto de lo que ya tengo en la red me tendré que arrepentir, no tengo miedo, y también me expongo más de lo que predico. Pero me gustaría tener un YO DIGITAL que controlase lo que voy dejando por ahí.
